For this first installment, I thought I'd give you a glimpse into our mornings.
Ty sleeps in, because of his work schedule. I rise early, because of my inner wiring. No, really.
Usually, I take Brooklyn out, feed her, play with her, take her out again, and put her back to bed in her crate. Somewhere during her routine, I manage to make coffee and eat breakfast. After she goes back to bed, I hit the keys. Although she was making some progress with the piano, I was still hesitant about leaving her unattended.
Monday morning, however, I decided to give her another chance.
I started the day with coffee, breakfast, and devotions.
Oh, and this face peeking over the coffee table.

| "Helllooooo?" |
Soon it was nearly peeking in my coffee mug.

| "Don't you want to play?" |
We got a little sleepy after breakfast and took a short rest. I poured a second cup of coffee.
We had an impromptu photo shoot. Actually, it wasn't so impromptu, seeing as it has become a daily ritual.
I swear she looks bigger every day.
Ahhh. This photo is quite important. This documents Brooklyn entertaining herself while I was practicing. Too bad I distracted her with the camera sound!
She decided to relocate and get a better view.
And this is pretty much the equivalent of sitting in the orchestra pit.
At one point she placed two paws on my lap, and turned to rest her head on the keyboard. I thought it was adorable for about ten seconds before I realized she was violating our no-jumping and no-furniture rules.
She's learning and finally becoming acclimated to the piano. I'm glad, because I want to keep them both around for a long time.
Soon this lap dog will be able to read off of the music stand without any furniture assistance.
