Cheeky

The kindergardeners at the school where I'm interning have some serious sass to them. My supervising teacher says they're "cheeky." Friday I got a taste of that.

One of the songs we were teaching them had a solo part where each kindergardener responded alone (good assessment tool!).
The song went like this:
"Is So-and-so knocking on my door?"
And So-and-so would answer either yes or no in a simple sol-me pattern.

Before starting the song, we did a quick name review. We went around the circle, and each kid said his name (mostly for my sake!).

Sophie, Josh, Tyler, Annabelle, etc.
A handful of normal names.

And then...

Justin Bieber.
Lady Gaga.

I kid you not.
