Okay, not really.
But an SOS doctor here visited me at my hotel this past weekend to stare down my throat for two seconds, declare that I had strep, and collect 80 euros. (Um, I could have told you that on Wednesday night.)
I'm feeling 100% now, and I've been doing stuff like a crazy person!
So many pictures to share, but our internet connection leaves much to be desired.
I'm currently using free WiFi, courtesy of a nearby restaurant, but I can't keep up with all these photos and stories!
So here is a quick overview of what I've been up to:
I locked my heart away on the bridge over the Seine River
I bought my favorite-ever planner at the Modern Art Museum (this is a big deal!)
I was refused communion by a Catholic Priest in Notre Dame during a Mass service.
I spent four hours practicing three measures "like a professional".
I am living on oatmeal and granola bars; thankfully I tracked down some vegetables tonight.
I people-watched on Sunday evening - love the street performers!
I was almost eaten by a subway train today.
I may have found my picture of the trip. (We'll see; there's a lot of trip left.) I'll go ahead and share it. :)
Jessie! Your photo is stunning - volumes communicated through this single image. The overall BW gives it such a timeless quality, too. sigh. I have to keep pinching myself - you are in PARIS!!!!!
