Modern Art

Last week we went to the Museum of Modern Art. I wasn't certain I would enjoy it, but I truly had a great time. Best of all? It's free!

I didn't expect to see furniture, but there were whole rooms set up with unique pieces.

These eyes were drawn all through the hallway. So clever.

Now we're getting more modern. This reminded me of a clothing shelter.

The three-dimensional works were my favorites! They are harder to capture on film. Many of them changed based on the viewer's perspective.

Not sure if you can see this clearly, but it's supposed to be a hand mirror. Where a face would normally reflect is a collage of various items reminiscent of diverse walks of life.

And this is probably the best thing that came from our time at the museum. This is my new fifteen-month planner. I am in love.

This is seriously the most fantastic planner I have ever beheld. It also has subway maps for all the major cities in the world, extra graph paper, world time charts, conversion charts, and a ziplock pocket in the front that will be perfect for receipts, pictures, ticket stubs, etc, etc!

Only regret? It doesn't start until September. :( Think of all the fantastic planning I could already be doing!
