Made It!

After some difficulty navigating the correct terminal and claiming my luggage, I settled down in Paris!
Everything is closed today (Sunday), but I enjoyed walking around a quiet city with my classmates.

(Those cars are all parked.)

First meal in Paris. Not a lot of options, as this was seriously the only affordable restaurant open this afternoon. That's lamb, salad, and french fries. Very delicious. I showed the owner this, and he made sure to feed me only GF food. Let's hope he understood! :)

Off to a busy day of lessons and practice tomorrow. Just found out I have a memorized performance on Sunday. Really unsure what I'll be playing...

Seven pm here, but my body is all confused. I think I'll sleep and wake up in about twelve or thirteen hours. Should be interesting, seeing as the sun doesn't set until nearly ten tonight. Good thing I held onto the complimentary night mask from the airplane!

  2. So excited to see your post from... PARIS! I am really looking forward to hearing about your trip someday - just thinking about the architecture and the bridges and street lamps and oh, about a million other things your senses are taking in makes me swoon. I'm imagining you on a bridge in the fog in your Audrey Hepburn dress... in my heart that's how I will always see you. Romantic, beautiful and classic. So very thrilled you have this opportunity, and know you will make the most of every single moment! Love, Aunt Cathy
