Meet Josh and Cassandra, my Paris piano buddies.
This post is all about Cassandra, my roommate. She's 4' 10" and a bundle of energy! Not only is she a pianist, but she's a composer, too! I've loved hearing some of her recorded works.
This is a normal photo of her, looking cute and getting ready to board the train on day one.
The rest of these photos are actually the true norm. You'll see what I mean.
As the trip went on, we began to notice a trend of really funny, unintentional photos of Cassandra.
Even the intentional ones are great!
She's totally creeping on my photo. We die laughing every time we look at this one.
I think she's stretching?
More creeping!
You tell that crepe who's boss!
That's Brandon, Josh's friend. He came to hang out for about a week early on in the trip.
Hahaha! Creeping again! This was at a local Bastille Day celebration put on by the fire department (the day before our fireworks party).
Don't worry. We didn't go in. Totally staged for the movie's sake. :)
I can tell this is going to be a classic, though.
Excited about bathrooms on Bastille Day! Yes, that excited.
Baguettes and cheese on the train!
I've apparently been dubbed a thief for taking cubes of cheese at breakfast to save for later. I called it resourcefulness. It's a huge joke now. (Okay, okay, it all started when they realized I took a blanket off the airplane. It was freshly wrapped in plastic and on my seat for me; I honestly thought (and still think!) I was supposed to take it!) Here Cassandra is imitating my resourcefulness by pulling out her to-go lunch.
Trying to imitate some of the snobby Parisians we've seen. We've got the garb on.
Yeah, we're no good at that. Silly Americans.
This is what happens every time I say, "Smile, Cassandra!"
Creeping in the bathroom line. Cassandra says my face takes the cake in this one.
Creeping again. So sneaky!
Okay, this one just freaks me out. Ha.
:D
o_O
Tongue ripped out of this poor fellow!
:)
Sleepy marks from the bus seats!
Taxi time.
Guestbook signing.
Sun salutations.
Great form!
I'll keep adding to this post if I can. Not sure what the internet situation will be like in Belgium, but I'll do my best.
