I'm going to the music store today to purchase new music!
I am so ready to learn new pieces.
I've been listening to a bunch of different music and writing down my favorites. When I've compiled a good-sized list (about 60 or 70, according to Boukie!), I'm supposed to send it to Boukie. He'll reply with a yes or no after each selection. From that I get to select my new pieces.
I saw him at school on Thursday, so he already okay-ed two works that I want to learn. That is the reason I'm off to the music store.
I want to play these. Back to practicing. :)
The first piece is a Brahms Rhapsody in B Minor.
The second piece is the last movement of a 6-movement Partita by Bach.
I hope you record yourself at your first sight read, then record yourself at your recital!
