Tyler left at 7:15 this morning. He was supposed to leave at 7, but I was late. I was busy buying him caffeine from Starbucks - barefoot and in my pajamas!
After our goodbyes - it all happened so quickly - I went home and ran. (I'm running in my second 5K tomorrow.) When I returned, I found my mommy had made me a delicious and healthful breakfast of eggs, fruit, and toast.
Soon after we headed over to my sister's. My mom thought it would be a fun adventure to brighten my day. It definitely helped. Did I mention that my sister is a full-time nanny for triplets?
Just thought I'd share some pictures of Charlie, Katie (everyone calls her Goose! Duck, duck, goose! - get it?), and Will. They'll be a year in September, though they were born three months early.
Charlie has a thing for making grumpy faces. He really was having a good time. Promise! :)

Goose! Being mischievous as usual!

Will and Julia.

After lunch, we gave them baths. Quite the event! While one is in the tub, the other two wait on deck in the bumbos.

Bath time for Charlie.

When Julia was in Japan last April, she bought them matching Japanese outfits. Here's Charlie sporting his like a dude.

Julia said Charlie is "King of the Bumbos." I think the title "Emperor of the Bumbos" might be more fitting.

Aww, so sweet!

Mommy with her Goose. She loves that girl!

This is their playroom. Incredible, huh?

And this is the ball pit! Yahoo!

Here Julia is recording amounts of formula eaten and at what times on the very detailed schedule.

Cutie Pie Will.

Will is having a great time. Charlie really was, too.

Well, he was until...

Goose joined the fun. Look at her trying to stand up.

Too cute not to photograph.

They like Carissa. :)

A new habit of Will's. Hm.

Finally! A smile from Charlie! I didn't realize until I loaded all my pictures how frowny he appears. I must have bad shutter timing or something, because he was smiley a lot.
Ty said he wanted to stop only once in the morning, but he had to stop twice because of the latte! (I'm glad! Makes him an alert driver!)
ReplyDeleteThese babies are SO adorable! I just want to grab Charlie and put him in my pocket. That red hair is a W trait, but none of my babies got it.
These babies are adorable! Love em!
ReplyDeleteYour mom is so sweet for making you a healthy breakfast. I really like her! She was so much fun to talk to on Wednesday night.
Aw, those trippies are so fun.
ReplyDeleteBut...I'm pretty sure your post is missing some important details. Like getting lost in Sanford, and adventures in Old Navy, and some little kid's birthday party, and watching Miss Congenialty. I thought a that was pretty great... ;)
Yes, indeed, but I posted this BEFORE all of those adventures took place! I didn't know we were going to get lost in Sanford again! Okay, that I probably could have predicted. ;)
