Photography by Emma

Summer Wednesdays are officially Maggie and Emma days (and Wesley days when he gets out of school).
Today, Maggie, and Emma, and I went to a favorite park and played and ate lunch. At one point, I made the mistake of handing Emma my camera. She took over 100 pictures in an hour! Good thing it's digital! ;)

She decided she'd turn this park visit into a photo shoot.

"Show me your cool face."
(Yep, that's all I've got.)
"Show me your silly face."
"Show me your laughing face."
"Show me your 'Emma?!' face."
(I think what she really meant was ,"Show me your 'mom' face." Got that one down. Notice the hand on the hip.)
"Show me your surprised face."
(Note to self: don't make this face very often.)

Soon after, Maggie alerted me she needed to find a bathroom pronto. I guess we were gone a while, because Emma took lots of pictures in our absence. I found quite a few like these.

In the end, we had to take two consecutive bathroom trips, so my guess is our paparazzi was more than ready for us.
Thank you Emma, for documenting our return.
Emma started to get the hang of this whole picture-taking thing. I like this one. :)
Finally, I was able to get on the other side of the camera! (The entire reason I brought it in the first place was to take their pictures!)

I love these of Emma. Her personality shines through so well!
This is her cool face. Much better than mine, I must admit.
It's too bad Maggie's hand sneaked into this one. It's a gorgeous picture of Emma.
More photos that displays Emma's electric personality.

And of course I couldn't conclude this post without a couple of sweet Maggie.

I love these girls. They're so much fun! I'm stoked about Summer Wednesdays! We're looking forward to zoo trips, Science Center trips, more swimming, lots of parks, bike rides, etc.

  3. That was the park where Tyler broke his arm. I don't think he's been back there since.

  4. Castle park is great; as long as you do not break your arm.
