Early Morning Top 10

You know you might be waking up too early when...

10) Your early-bird friends think you're insane.

9) Any event beginning after 8PM is "So late!"

8) Your eyes shut so much in the mornings that you end up playing your scales with your eyes closed.

7) You eat lunch by 9AM.

6) You're ready for bed by 5PM.

5) You feel like half your day is over if you wake up later than 7AM.

4) You accidentally text your friends at 6AM, because you think it's so much later in the day

3) You can hit the snooze button for four hours and still make it to school by 8AM.

2) People here reply to your morning emails...except they haven't gone to bed yet. (Embarrassing!)

1) Your friends on the west coast are still living out the previous day.

With that, I'd like to say I rose at 6AM today. :)

Building the Walls

Our church has been in the process of building a home since February. It took years to get to that point, but it seems like the time is flying by now. Dad took Julia and me by the property, so she could see everything before heading back to SE Asia.

Back in July, while Julia and I were both out-of-country, our church body came and wrote Scripture verses on the steel columns. I was so sad to miss this! Thankfully, there were still some places not yet covered, so Julia and I got a chance to participate on our own.

A few pictures of the inside, just for fun!
This is the entry hall.

We're hoping to be moved in by late February/Early March! Come on, Spring!

The Canine and The Cuteness

This is Julia with our little Gator on Saturday morning.

Tootsie hates it when Isaac gets all the attention, so she jumped right into the middle of things.

"Yeah, this was my family first."

"You think he has beautiful eyes? I can bat my lashes, too."

Annnd she goes in for the kill. The curly-haired mop on the side is me attempting to intervene.

Isaac's reaction. Ha ha.

"You think his army crawl is a big deal? Just try running on these short legs!"

"So much fuss about a big, red dog. I could take him."

In this case, Isaac agrees.

Head-butt!

Awww, the cuteness!

You think he's a Florida boy? :)

You Know Your Sister Loves You When...

...she sits through three hours of a piano competition just to be with you.

I could list a thousand other things, but I'd rather keep them close to my heart. (After all, you never know who reads this thing!) I will share that I know my sister loves me when it's hard for her to leave this morning. It's a strange thing loving someone so much that you let go. And it's a good thing that makes my heart exceedingly glad in its heaviness.

I'm so, so thankful for all these photos (and many more) that will remind me of that wonderful six weeks shared with my sister! I love you, Ju!
