Tasty!

Last night, with the help of Tsu and Mommy, I made dinner for my family. It was so much fun being in the kitchen with them! We chatted and listened to some pieces I'm working on at the moment.

These onions were paired together like twins.

The beginnings of the main course. Any guesses?

Hint, hint!

Avocados are beautiful!

When making guacamole, be sure to use cilantro and not parsley! I'm such a newbie!
(But they look so much alike!)

Toast chips in the oven to freshen up the taste.

My first-ever attempt at guac! It was delish!

Of course, add a salad. This one had cucumbers, red onion, carrots, and Craisins. Mmmm! Topped with my variation of Mrs. W's homemade dressing. (Meaning, whatever ingredients we happened to have!)

Ta da!

  3. Aw, I wish I could've been there...even though you were making two foods I don't really like. It looks like you guys had fun :)

  4. Did you really put parsley in your guac? Gross! Everything else looked delicious--but did you peel the avocadoes? Cause you know, if you just cut them in half and remove the pit with a spoon, the "meat" will plunk right out of the skin (sometimes a little help from a friendly spoon is needed). It's wonderful!
