Today was hard. There's no getting around it. Tough day.
It was bound to happen. Usually days like these occur twice a semester - the sorts of days that I wish I were crawled up in my bed and not on a campus with thousands of others. Definitely not in a small program where classmates and professors notice watery eyes and looks of frustration.
Anyway, the purpose of this blog is not to rant. (I've done my share of that already.) Rather, it is to commend to you another blog post. This time of year is typically very stressful, so take a moment to slow down and inhale refreshing words.
Also, here's a verse I've been claiming today. You may need to be reminded of its truth, too.
"There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Jesus Christ."
-Romans 8:1
Read it again. And again.
And again.
Oh, and I got my new journal today. It was perfect timing.
I'm so sorry about your day :/
ReplyDeleteI hope tomorrow is the opposite sort of day for you. Love you lots!
"Your righteousness reaches heaven, God
ReplyDeleteYou who have done great things
God, who is like You?
You have caused me to experience many troubles and misfortunes,
but You will revive me again, even from the depths of the earth."
- Psalm 71:19 & 20
I had written that verse out on a 3x5 and left it in the school room. My daughter knows the struggles I'm having. She found it and put it on my bathroom mirror.
And now it's on YOUR wall. =) Thank you for sharing and being real, so we know how to pray for you!
